AMDのDualCoreProcessorを使用していると、動画が飛び飛びで再生される

　僕のマシンはCPUにAMD Athlon64X2 Dual Core 5200+で、OSはWindwosXPなんだけど、大きめのサイズの動画を再生すると、映像と音声が飛び飛びになってしまう事があった。調べてみた結果、WinXPはDuralCoreで動く事を想定して作っていないが為にパッチを当てる必要があるらしい、AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Utilities & Updatesの以下のドライバをインストールすることでこの問題は解消された。

This package is a user friendly localized software installation of the driver designed for end-users. 　当然、このパッチは動画ファイルの再生をスムーズにするわけではなく、CPUスピードや電圧の調整を行っているようです。
